ONCOLOGY CLINIC
Keck Medicine of USC’s oncology infusion therapy clinic is located on the second floor of a five-story mixed-use building comprised of medical office and housing.
The project was broken out into two phases.
The first phase involved the build-out of a 4,607 SF facility consisting of eight infusion bays, two private infusion treatment rooms, five exam rooms, two nurse stations, seven clinical support rooms, four administrative support rooms, and four single occupancy restrooms.
The second phase of the project took place on the first floor and featured a LINAC install. The 13,000-pound LINAC machine lives inside a vault within a 2,237 SF new building constructed by ConAm. The vault has 3 to 6 ft. deep concrete walls and rests on a 3 ft. thick slab supported by 20, 100 ft. by 3 ft. caissons.
